Fishing Charters for Brunswick, Georgia

Brunswick sits at the heart of Georgia’s Golden Isles, surrounded by tidal rivers, sounds and miles of spartina marsh. Capt. Greg Hildreth has fished these waters since 1992, and his charters leave from St. Simons Marina, a short drive across the F.J. Torras Causeway from downtown Brunswick.

Whether you live in Brunswick, are visiting for business, or are passing through on I-95, a half-day or full-day trip is an easy way to fish the Golden Isles with a U.S.C.G. licensed and insured captain. Trips are planned around your group, the season and conditions on the water.

Inshore fishing around Brunswick

The creeks and marshes between Brunswick and the barrier islands hold redfish, spotted seatrout, flounder and sheepshead most of the year. Most fish are caught on live bait under a float, and light tackle or fly anglers can sight fish tailing redfish on the flats. See inshore fishing charters.

Nearshore, shark and tarpon trips

Along the beaches and sounds, bull redfish, tripletail, sharks and cobia are all on the menu, and summer brings Georgia tarpon that average 100-140 lbs. See nearshore & offshore trips and shark & tarpon charters.

Families and groups

Kids are welcome with no minimum age, and Capt. Greg is known for his patience with first-time anglers. Corporate groups and larger parties can book multiple boats. See family fishing charters.
